Toe Amputation

Toe amputation is a removal of toe from the body extremity which is covered by the skin. Toe amputation is performed on the patients with a diabetic foot. An amputation can be minor where only a toe or a finger is removed or major where a large part is removed. Based on your surgery and general health, the operation may carry out by giving general anaesthesia by which the patient will sleep. Spinal anaesthesia by which the medication is delivered to the spine and the lower part of the body will get numb.
