Hammer Toe

Hammertoe is a deformity of the toe in which toe becomes upward in the middle and bent downward at the end. Hammertoes usually start out as mild deformities and get progressively worse over time. The main causes of hammer toe are the shoes that don’t fit properly, foot injuries, rheumatoid arthritis. The toe contains two joints that allow it to bend at the middle and bottom. A hammertoe occurs when the middle joint becomes dislocated. Avoid wearing shoes that are small and narrow. For treatment of hammer toe you should seek medical advice.
