Emerging research has revealed the pivotal role of lung cancer stem cells (CSCs) in driving tumorigenesis, metastasis, therapy resistance, and disease relapse. This article provides a comprehensive review of the molecular features of lung CSCs, including their identification, regulatory pathways, and interactions within the tumor microenvironment [1]. Moreover, the discussion explores potential therapeutic targets for lung CSCs, considering strategies to disrupt their self-renewal, enhance susceptibility to treatment, and improve patient outcomes.
